No Trips This Weekend...

I am disappointed to report that we will not get off the dock this weekend despite the great weather and inside reports of a hot Cod bite on Coxes. The portside injection pump is down in New Haven getting rebuilt for a second time this season...it's been a real nightmare and I am cutting lose all my former vendors for shoddy work, a lack of professionalism and a total disregard for my business and my customers who have come to rely and enjoy fishing on Codzilla during the summer months for Cod. I have spent thousands this year and only have one trip under my belt...it's shameful and this bullshit will end very soon. Bottom line is I need to get the old girl healthy enough to unload on Craigslist and move on. I have a very, very great 42' Bruno Stillman in my sights...a well established vessel in Montauk for the past 30 years, single Cummins Q Series engine...HUGE 150' stern with lots of room for 10 - 12 anglers...I am going to "go for it" as soon as possible and we are going to turn this whole mess around. Thank you to all my loyal customers for your kind words and support...your emails mean alot to me and I will put all this behind me soon. Glad that you guys know and respect the kind of captain I am...never shut down the engines and will move the boat until I find the fish. Let's hope we will have a new "FV Codzilla" very soon. Will report more midweek...perhaps make a few more trips on the old girl if we can get her running...good grief
