Lots Of Wind & Weather....

The above pic shows the amount of snow I had to shovel off the boat over the weekend. Brutal winds today and very few breaks in the weather for the head-boat fleet at this time of year. Hard to watch these big boats just sitting at the dock with a very empty parking lot. Big expenses with no cash coming in makes for a long winter. I know a few of the guys got out yesterday but it was LOUSY fishing from what I was told. Between the endless wind, rough conditions and very unpredictable bite, running trips in the winter is just not my cup of tea. I cannot wait for those nice warm days in April with light & variable winds and "sane" fishing conditions. More next week...
