No Takers For Friday's Trip...

Even I bit on NOAA's noontime forecast today calling for 20 kt winds out of the NE with 4' seas...cancelled the only two guys who reserved a spot at the rail and low & behold now they change it to 5-10 kts with 2-3' seas....those guys just cannot get their act together. Last time I will do this going forward...from now on, all trips will be cancelled at the dock, period.

The good news....Mate Corey and I are heading out tomorrow to investigate a new area we suspect is holding a very large body of Cod stacked like chord wood. I call it "prospecting" and it always pays off in the long run....plus I get to fish and relax, which is always nice! I will report what we find in tomorrow or Saturdays report...standby
